Graduated from Peking University (Beida), one of the most prestigious universities in China, Ge got her Master’s degrees in law at Montesquieu University Bordeaux IV and in Comparative Politics at Sciences Po. Paris. Four-year studies in France allowed her to master French language and understand French culture.
After finishing her studies, Ge moved back to Asia with her family. From 2010 to 2012, Ge worked at a Singapore law firm to counsel and assist Chinese clients to invest or immigrate in Singapore. From 2013 to 2014, Ge joined Xinhuanet, the largest and the most influential media in China, under the direct leadership of Xinhua News Agency. Acting as Program Director of Xinhuanet Singapore, Ge launched the “Singapore Conversation Column” (http://sg.xinhuanet.com/zt/rwzf1/) and conducted a series of high-level interviews with political, business and academic elites.
In May 2014, Ge set up Bonjour Beijing. This mandarin school aims to help expatriates, their children and businessmen learn Chinese language and understand Chinese culture. Her trilingual skill and multi-cultural experiences allow her to be able to teach both in English and French.
